Warehouse Technician - Part Time (20 hours per week) $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
The Warehouse Technician plays a key role in helping the day-to-day operations of our team and helps to ensure we are safe and successful in our business. The Warehouse Tech tracks equipment, handles repair and maintenance, maintains vehicle maintenance logs and schedules vehicle repairs. In addition, other duties include warehouse ordering, maintaining an inventory of consumable materials and light maintenance.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Repair equipment as needed: paint sprayers, small generators, etc.
Assist with inventory
Vehicle maintenance monitoring and scheduling
Participate in weekly staff meetings
Responsible for Resource Management of the following:
Movement, care, and inventory of contents and laundry in the warehouse and on jobsites
Tracking of assets (equipment)
Monitor and address safety issues and practice safety practices including proper PPE
Unload truck deliveries utilizing a forklift
Order supplies for contents, laundry, and admin offices as needed
Maintain organization of the warehouse, including supplies and customer vaults
Attend industry related trainings

All other duties as assigned

Small engine repair
Basic carpentry knowledge
Ability to lift 40 lbs
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
General knowledge of emergency services within the restoration industry

Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Small engine repair
Basic carpentry knowledge
Compressor/refrigerant repair knowledge
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Preferred Education and Experience
Light electrical repair and plumbing abilities are a plus
IICRC certifications
Forklift Certification
Physical Requirement
Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
This position requires that you be able to stand on a ladder
This position requires that you clean using wet and dry options
This position requires that you box contents and move boxed items.
Must be able to work safely
Must be able to communicate and converse with customers and staff over the phone and face to face
Occasionally will lift up to 50lbs
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
Work Environment
The employee will be working indoors and outdoors. The employee will be exposed to air conditioning and heat. The employees will be exposed to normal noises throughout the office. The employee will be exposed to extreme heat and cold weather due to outdoor temperatures. The employee may be required to use a respirator for safety.
Travel
This position will require up to 20% local travel to jobs sites (as needed).
