About Soccer Shots - Houston:

Here at Soccer Shots our goal is to positively impact children’s lives and be every child’s favorite day. We accomplish this goal by using our engaging children’s soccer curriculum (ages 2-8) with a focus on character development. Though we continue to grow, we are still a family business at heart. The Job:

Bring “Soccer Island” alive with your enthusiasm and creativity.

Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down.

Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.

Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots’ curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session.

Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols.

Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.

Training - We offer a paid comprehensive training program to learn Soccer Shots’ curriculum, developmentally appropriate coaching techniques, and best practices.

Flexibility – We only schedule you when you’re available, at sessions closest to you, with opportunities to change availability from season to season (winter/spring/summer/fall - must meet 20 sessions a week).

Position Overview: We're hiring Part-Time Soccer Coaches!

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License

Pass an FBI Background Check

Valid Work Visa or Authorization to work in the US

Coaching or childhood education experience preferred

Must own or have access to a printer

Minimum of 20 sessions a week

Minimum of 3 mornings and 3 afternoons availability

Saturday mornings from 8am - 12:15pm

A Day In The Life:

Safely manage a class of up to 12 children.

Implement our curriculum which focuses on skill and character development

Arrive on-time to your locations and provide a positive customer experience to faculty and families

Maintain equipment and manage your class rosters

Go home knowing you made a difference

Hours:

Monday through Friday: 8am - 6pm

Saturdays: 8am - 12:15pm
