Summary : We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and professional part-time bartender to join our team for after funeral services. This role involves providing a comfortable and supportive environment for guests during a sensitive time, typically working Monday through Friday for 3-4 hours per day, as needed. You will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience in a respectful and quiet atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Manage bar inventory, ensuring sufficient stock of drinks and supplies for each shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the event.
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring guests' needs are met in a respectful and professional manner.
• Check identification to verify the legal drinking age of customers.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Monitor guest behavior and assist in maintaining a peaceful and respectful environment.
• Collaborate with event coordinators and staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
• Ensure all health and safety standards, including food and drink handling regulations, are followed.
• Be prepared to handle emotional situations with sensitivity, providing a comforting atmosphere for grieving individuals.

Requirements :

• Previous experience in the bar or service industry is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and collected under pressure, especially in sensitive situations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday, as needed, with flexible hours (typically 3-4 hours per shift).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• The work environment will be in a quiet, respectful setting, typically in a private venue or a funeral home facility.
• The bartender will work independently but collaborate with funeral services staff to ensure smooth service.
