Part-time Tennessee Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor / LCSW, LMFT or LPC

Salary Range: $35 to $40 per hours
Type of Employment: Part-time; Flexible Hours
Purpose
This role reports directly to the CEO, contributing to the objectives of the company’s mission. While providing individual, group and family therapy, this Licensed Therapist participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning and client-centered care and treatment. The location is Cordova TN.
Responsibilities:
• Carry a caseload of consistent outpatient clients and IOP program clients.
• Oversee the daily treatment experience of each of his/her clients.
• Maintain appropriate documentation as required.
• Conduct assessments of clients at the time of assessment and re-assessments as required.
• Conduct mental status examinations.
• Provide appropriate treatment recommendations based on a review of the client’s history, signs, and symptoms.
• Provide individual, couple/family, and group psychotherapy as needed.
• Ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversity of clients and staff.
• Crisis intervention services.
• Treatment Planning.
• Complete Additional Sessions Requests forms as required.
• Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries, and related issues.
• Participates in quarterly staffing meeting
Skills, Knowledge and Competencies Required:
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen
• Solid relationship building capabilities
• Conduct mental status examinations, assessments, and re-assessments as required
• Provide appropriate treatment recommendations based on a review of the client’s history, signs, and symptoms
• Ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversity of clients and staff
• Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries, and related issues
• Ability to work as an integrated part of a treatment team
• Ability to manage crises and assess risk.
• Excellent management of caseload (including groups, individual sessions, and family contact/sessions).
• Strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines in regard to patient confidentiality.
• Ability to establish appropriate boundaries with clients and staff.
• Commitment to cultural diversity and sensitivity.
Qualifications:
The following are the qualifications required to perform the essential functions of this position. Qualifications may be subject to modification based on the Americans with Disabilities Act.
• Specific qualifications may vary based on assignment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Independently licensed with the State of Tennessee as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPC
• Minimum of two years’ experience in evaluating and/or treating persons suffering from mental illness and/or substance abuse.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Criminal Background Check Clearance.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office or other environmentally controlled room.
