JOB OVERVIEW
Must be available Monday thru Thursday 5pm – 10pm
Prefer weekend availability with advance notice for occasional special events
Responsible for all routine ministry events to ensure safety, security, and proper maintenance of the building
Lead, oversee and facilitate the successful set up for all church events
Create and lead a hospitable environment for every event and for every person connected to or attending the event
Provide repair and maintenance support for the facilities team including light mechanical, carpentry, electrical and plumbing repair projects
Provide support for the operations team including door lock schedules, checking each entrance/exit to ensure each are locked and secure, monitoring and adjusting the HVAC to maintain optimal temperatures for all events, setting up & resetting of rooms and cleaning spills & messes

The person who fills this role will be working with every member of the Campus Staff, other Central Staff, and outside contractors and guests. This person should reflect the culture of Preston Trail Community church
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work in a fast-paced event delivery work environment
Ability to complete maintenance and repair work orders submitted for the campus
Ability to perform light maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and/or ballasts, touching up paint, small drywall repairs, etc. (Report to supervisor any work that is outside of your capacity and requires an outside contractor)
Facilitate any setups as needed for our internal ministry events, and outside events
Attend weekly campus staff meetings to develop good working relationships with the campus staff and to better understand the activities and events happening on that campus
Occasional custodial duties as needed
Ability to assist with weekly inter-campus deliveries
Ability to assist at other campuses for any large events or projects
Willing to learn the operation and maintenance of our facility work environment, building and other control apparatus and devices to include pneumatic, and direct digital control systems
Complete service requests and/or repairs requested by staff or volunteers while on-site
Demonstrated skills in communicating effectively and responding timely to emails/texts/radio communication and Microsoft Teams chats
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Apple operating system
Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, working in cramped positions in small opening and climbing hand over hand, lifting 50 lbs., and working on ladders/lifts
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing as required to communicate with customers, supervisors, and other employees and to complete work-related documentation
Ability to work in a team environment
The ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time
Must have unrestricted rights to work in the US
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
