Parts Representative (Construction & Forestry)
Summary/Objective The Parts Representative will perform a variety of customer service, marketing, promoting, advertising and stocking duties related to sales, receiving and delivery of parts.

Assist in keeping parts department clean and professional
Record all sales (including lost sales) and/or customer transactions using Company provided systems/tools (i.e. PFW) and guidelines
Assist in maintaining the retail sales floor and displays to meet or exceed the dealerships standards and ensure customer satisfaction
Take a proactive approach to inventory control by assisting and or reporting discrepancies
Ensure internal and external customers receive the correct parts in a timely manner
Receive, ship, and store parts as needed in accordance with DOT local, state, and federal guidelines
Proactively study and stay current on industry and product information
Pick up and deliver parts for customers and vendors as needed
Mark and store parts in stockroom according to prearranged system and assist with cycle count duties
Perform inventory as directed by Parts Manager
Maintain positive and professional working relationships with coworkers, management, and vendors with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
Follow all safety rules and regulations and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and the employee handbook
Participate in all company driven communication efforts including department meetings, electronic communications (email and text) and other related efforts
Proactively seek and participate in available company sponsored training to develop skills and knowledge
Maintain prompt and regular attendance according to department and company policies
Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting in or around service/parts departments and will be exposed to outside weather conditions, noise, vibration, fumes, odors, dust, electrical shock, toxic or caustic chemicals, heights and close proximity to moving mechanical parts.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand, bend and stoop. The employee is frequently required to lift or carry up to 50 lbs., walk, reach above, push and pull and use hands and fingers for fine manipulation. The employee is occasionally required to sit, lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance and color vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear at moderate noise levels.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full‐time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Previous experience in parts department or warehouse environment preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Oral and written communication skills
Ability to pick up 50 lbs. to 100 lbs.
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to use personal computers
