    Job Summary

    The primary responsibility of a Parts Runner is to safely pick up and deliver parts to specified vendors and suppliers. This role requires the safe operation of all vehicles owned by Hoehn Plastics, Inc. It is also expected that a Parts Runner may need to visit multiple locations during their shift.

    Responsibilities

    Operate all company vehicles safely and follow the Driving Policy implemented by Express Managed Services.

    Collect the necessary documentation from all vendors and suppliers when picking up or delivering an order.

    Provide the appropriate paperwork to all vendors and suppliers during the pickup or delivery process.

    Ensure that all documentation is accurate and properly reflects the correct items received or delivered.

    Transport Express Managed Services employees to the Deaconess COMP Center as directed by the HR Department.

    Assist in relocating or delivering vehicles to other repair facilities.

    Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the coordinator or other members of Corporate Management.

    Working Conditions

    Parts Runners may be exposed to various hazards, including moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, extreme temperatures (both hot and cold), outdoor environments, high places, and potential fumes.

    The job requires lifting and moving objects weighing up to 75lbs, performing repetitive hand motions, and frequently grasping and squeezing. Parts Runners should be prepared to sit for long periods, as well as walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, and twist while performing a variety of tasks.

    Parts Runners may work outdoors and face weather conditions that can be cold or hot. Additionally, they may need to operate in less favorable conditions, such as rain or snow.

    Noise levels in some areas of the work environment can be loud, though they are typically moderate.

    Since Parts Runners need to travel between suppliers and vendors, they will be required to operate a motor vehicle for a significant portion of their shift.

    Job Qualifications

    High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.

    A part runner must maintain the ability to follow written instructions.

    Proficiency in basic math calculations.

    Basic computer knowledge is necessary.

    Availability to make runs from Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. is expected, although this schedule will vary. Each week will feature different hours, offering a range from a few to several hours.

    A valid driver’s license is required.

    A clean driving record must be maintained.

    Preferred Qualifications

    One year of experience in handling parts.

    Must have maintained a valid driver's license for at least two years.
