OBJECTIVE: The main purpose of the Parts Runner job is to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse and inventory by executing orders, delivering and picking up items, and maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness..

DUTIES:
Execute orders given by the Purchasing Manager, Customer Relations Manager.
Assist with day-to-day operations upon request.
Pack orders according to the provided packing slip.
Check and update inventory, notifying the Purchasing Manager of low stock.
Unload delivered products and organize them in the warehouse as per Purchasing Manager's directives.
Pick up and deliver orders as assigned, following proper documentation.
Maintain shop, showroom, and warehouse cleanliness and organization.
Perform daily checks in storage areas and return misplaced inventory items to their correct locations.
Assist technicians when help is requested.
Participate in special projects as assigned by the Operations Manager.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Organizational skills – Ability to keep warehouse and inventory in order.
Attention to detail – Ensuring correct packaging and inventory checks.
Time management – Ability to handle multiple tasks and deliveries efficiently.
Communication skills – Ability to follow directives from multiple managers and coordinate with technicians.
Driving skills – If deliveries are required, you must be able to drive.
Basic inventory management skills – Keeping track of stock levels and reporting shortages.
Customer service orientation – Assisting with customer-related requests when needed.
OUTCOMES:
Orders are packed accurately and in a timely manner.
Inventory is well-maintained with accurate stock updates.
Warehouse, shop, and showroom are clean and organized.
All assigned deliveries and pickups are completed on time and with proper documentation.
Leftover inventory items are identified and returned to their proper place.
Technicians receive timely assistance when needed.
Special projects assigned by the General Manager (Operational Manager) are completed as required.
WORKPLACE PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Lifting & Carrying – Regularly required to lift and carry inventory items, sometimes heavy (e.g., auto parts, equipment, boxes).
Pushing & Pulling – Moving heavy boxes, carts, or materials within the warehouse.
Standing & Walking – Extended periods of standing and walking while organizing stock, packing orders, and making deliveries.
Bending, Kneeling, & Reaching – Frequent bending and reaching to store or retrieve items from shelves and storage areas.
Driving – If delivery duties are assigned, prolonged sitting while driving to pick up or deliver parts.
Warehouse Conditions – Working in a warehouse environment, which may involve:
Exposure to temperature extremes (cold in winter, hot in summer, depending on the warehouse conditions).
Possible exposure to dust, dirt, and warehouse debris.
Noise Levels – Moderate to high noise levels due to warehouse equipment, deliveries, and general operations.
