Job Summary
RDS Equipment, Inc., a full service Material Handling Dealership, is looking for a person to join the team in our busy parts and service area. If you are very detailed orientated, know how to organize, have strong computer skills, take direction well and strong communication skills, we want to hear from you.
As a parts and service coordinator, you will be responsible for duties ranging from answering phones, processing service tickets, checking inventories to shipping and receiving parts. To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized and knowledge of how an equipment or automotive dealership operates would be very helpful.
Responsibilities
Process service tickets to be invoiced
Process time cards for each technician and enter on service tickets
Answer phones and transfer calls to the appropriate person or department
File and manage all closed service repair orders
Ship & receive parts, pull parts for service jobs and parts sales and match incoming parts to the appropriate service job
Assist in parts look up as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred
Prior experience in an equipment or automotive dealership is preferred
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage time and process a variety paperwork with little supervision
