Role

As a Mechanic Journeyperson (also known as Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanical Technician), you'll be responsible for performing preventive maintenance activities, emergency/breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and maintaining clean and organized work areas. You'll also be expected to accurately use measurement and test equipment, maintain teamwork with other associates, and prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork.

Qualifications

• Electrical aptitude and mechanical knowledge.
• Experience in troubleshooting and boiler operations (preferred).
• Ability to work alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and with machine safety inspections.
• Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
