  • Responsibilities

    Role

    As a Conventional / Manual Machinist (also known as a Machinist, Manual Equipment Operator), you'll be responsible for fabricating and repairing components, operating manual mills, lathes, VTL, Bridgeport, and more. You'll also reverse engineer old parts, interpret engineering drawings, maintain equipment, and review job orders. This role offers a dynamic job-shop environment and the opportunity to learn CNC machining.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of standard machine shop equipment and ability to produce features on parts to tolerances of +/- 0.001”.
    • One to three years of work experience with proficiency in the operation of manual machining equipment.
    • Two-year degree from a technical school or certificate from an industrial program preferred.
