Job Description
The North America R&D Flowers team is currently seeking a Pathology Associate located in Gilroy, California. This position is 100% onsite and does not support visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Critical knowledge
B.S. or MSc degree or equivalent in Biology or Agriculture
Expertise in molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, ELISA) and plant disease diagnosis
Knowledge of laboratory safety, regulatory compliance, and agricultural practices
Understanding of plant breeding concepts and crop quality improvement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with protocol development experience
Excellent data management and record-keeping abilities, including database proficiency
Effective communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration
Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment
Adaptable and motivated to learn new techniques and technologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant laboratory software
