    Located in The Woodlands, Texas , Memorial Hermann Surgery Center – Pinecroft is a fast-paced outpatient surgery center offering a range of surgical specialties in a patient-centered environment. We’re seeking a reliable and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to assist our clinical team and ensure our patients receive excellent care and support throughout their surgical experience.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Assist patients with basic care needs such as hygiene, mobility, and comfort
    • Support nursing staff in preparing patients for procedures and transporting them as needed
    • Monitor vital signs and promptly report any changes to the clinical team
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
    • Help with stocking supplies, room turnover, and equipment readiness
    • Provide emotional support to patients and families during pre- and post-operative phases
    • Accurately document patient interactions and contribute to maintaining thorough medical records

    Required Experience

    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Completion of a Certified Patient Care Tech or Medical Assistant program preferred
    • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
    • Previous experience in a hospital, outpatient surgery center, or clinical setting preferred
    • Familiarity with patient safety standards and infection control protocols
