PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR NEEDED AT KINETIX PHYSICAL THERAPY:

At Kinetix Physical Therapy, you can join an established fast-paced front office team to support our energetic clinical staff including physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and student interns. Candidate needs to have a pleasant demeanor, a positive forward-thinking outlook, and the willingness and ability to work with others, while also demonstrating great multi-tasking and organization skills and a desire to have a long-term position with our company while growing with us. Most importantly, a candidate will need to be dedicated to helping patients get the care they need.
A part-time position and full-time position with benefits are available. Experience in healthcare/customer service setting or educational equivalent is required. At Kinetix Physical Therapy we believe in giving back to the community so willingness to participate in charitable activities and donate time is expected. Coverage one Saturday morning per month is required for handling our community workshops.

Summary of job responsibilities:
-Welcoming patients as they arrive
-Answering phones
-Scheduling new patients
-Ensuring that patients attend their appointments
-Collection of patient payments
-Management of our call log
-New patient intake/communication
-Weekly reports
-Verification of insurance benefits
-Explanation of benefits to newly evaluated patients
-Handling the sales process to help patients get fully signed up for care
-Scheduling patients after their evaluation
-Patient billing–correct collection of patient responsibility
-Data entry–you need to be proficient with Microsoft Office Products and basic data entry
-Maintain a clean front office and waiting room
