    About the Role:

    We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Oceanside Physical Therapy in Dover, NH. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll compassionately guide new and established patients through the scheduling needs of their Plan of Care. Gathering the accurate information needed to successfully build a complete patient record is essential to the success of this role. You will utilize resources such as referrals and leads to navigate the delicate balance of patient care and maximizing schedules always prioritizing patient care. Attention to detail is a must.

    The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial part in ensuring our patients receive the best care and support during their time with us. This is a hybrid role once fully trained offering a flexible 30-40 hours a week schedule.

    Responsibilities:

    Manage patient appointments and scheduling

    Evaluate new patients to match with a physical therapist

    Assist with patient intake and paperwork

    Provide excellent customer service and support to patients

    Monitor provider schedules to fill vacancies and maximize availability

    Liaise with billing for insurance issues and authorizations

    Answer phones

    Requirements:

    Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role

    Strong organizational and communication skills

    Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes

    Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

    High school diploma or equivalent
