Heartland Women's Healthcare, an Advantia Health partner is GROWING and looking to add a Patient Support Center Representative (PCS Rep) to our team!
The PCS Representative answers incoming calls for appointment scheduling, serves as a liaison between patient and medical support staff, and takes all incoming calls. Position may rotate between day, evening, and weekend shifts. EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS REQUIRED.
Job Responsibilities:
Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages, and provide information along with greeting patients in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner.
Verifies and updates demographic, insurance and other necessary information in the computer records.
Directs patients to website to access documents that may need to be completed prior to patient visit.
Schedules and maintains appointments through computerized scheduling program.
Adheres to established Rules of Scheduling through computerized scheduling program.
Utilizes phone system to initiate reminder calls and reschedule missed appointments.
Handles patient, provider, and staff requests within the appropriate scope of practice.
Ensure all communications reflect the standards and mission of Heartland Women's Healthcare.
Maintains patient confidentiality and follows HIPPA guidelines.
Display a consistently positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous and professional attitude.
Be willing and able to adapt to changes.
