    WORK IS PERFORMED ON-SITE IN NAPERVILLE OFFICE – Monday-Friday

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Create memorable and personalized experiences for Fox Valley Institute clients and team by providing support and promptly responding to inquiries over phone and email

    Schedule and confirm client appointments

    Maintain provider schedules

    Verify confidential client demographics, insurance information, method of payment and referral source information

    Respond to inquiries from clients, providers and insurance companies providing solutions to needs

    Maintain and follow-up client waitlist via phone or email

    Responsible for collecting, posting and managing account payments

    Perform various collection actions including contacting clients by phone

    Responsible for office administration duties including assisting clients in lobby, light housekeeping and occasional clerical duties, as needed

    Maintain the strictest patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines

    Possess a commitment to service, organizational values and professionalism through appropriate conduct, demeanor and attire

    Adhere to organizational and departmental specific safety standards and guidelines

    Willingness to perform other duties, as needed

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    Minimum 2 years college

    2+ years experience working in a medical office

    High degree of attention to detail and superior customer service skills

    Knowledge of managed care, medical insurance and billing practices

    Knowledge of MS Office and Google applications with strong data entry skills

    Strong work ethic, self-starter, organized and a quick learner with a history of excellent attendance and punctuality

    Ability to communicate information and ideas in verbal and written form so that others can clearly understand

    Ability to take and give direction to see objectives to completion

    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, leadership team, psychologists/therapists, and administrative team

    Preferable:

    Experience in a Behavioral/Mental Health Practice

    Physical Demands:

    Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time

    Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach and twist

    Lift, carry, push and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight

    Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard
