Large managed care company is looking for a Patient Services Representative with strong communication and customer service skills for a short-term contract position.

PAY: $18.00
CONTRACT DATES: 5/5/25 - 8/4//25
HOURS: M-F, 8-5
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet patients as they arrive and manage 10 minute wait time.
- Assist patient with intake processes including copying required documents.
- Answer phones and schedules appointments.
- Assist primarily with high volume inbound calls.
- Assist with coordination and processing of all patient referrals for specialty services.
- Responsible for accurately and professionally handling all front desk operations including balancing daily collections, data-entry, addressing routine inquiries, and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel.
- Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed in timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Highschool/GED or equivalent
- 1+ years of healthcare customer service, preferably primary care
- Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology
- Call center experience or experience with high volume of calls
- Experience with Medicare Advantage insurance plans
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Solid data entry skills
- Experience with eCW (EMR system) is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish speaking is preferred
