    Job Summary:

    Patriot Healthcare is seeking a skilled Network Administrator to manage and maintain our computer networks, ensuring optimal performance, security, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Network Management: Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.

    - System Administration: Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring network availability and reliability.

    - Security: Implement and manage security measures to protect data, software, and hardware from threats.

    - Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.

    - Documentation: Maintain detailed records of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

    - User Support: Provide technical support and training to staff on network-related issues, including basic troubleshooting skills for laptops, desktops, and smartphones.

    - Upgrades: Plan and implement network upgrades and expansions as needed.

    - Compliance: Ensure the network complies with all relevant regulations and standards, particularly those related to healthcare (e.g., HIPAA).

    - Collaboration: Work closely with other IT staff and VP of IT to meet organizational goals and objectives.

    - Travel: Must be able to travel to set up new locations, including network, printers, desktops, and other related equipment.

    - Orientation and Setup: Conduct orientation for staff and set up equipment for new hires.

    Qualifications:

    - Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    - Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or a related role.

    - Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, or similar are preferred.

    - Technical Skills:

    - Proficiency in network hardware and software management.

    - Experience with network security protocols and tools.

    - Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols.

    - Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

    - Soft Skills:

    - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

    Nice to Have:

    - Experience with vCenter, vSphere, and virtual machine configuration.

    - Experience with Intune and Azure.
