Job Summary:
As a Pavement Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead teams responsible for performing pavement maintenance services such as line striping, asphalt crack filling, seal coating, milling, and repaving. You will oversee the efficiency and quality of work to maintain our client’s properties in peak condition. Using specialized equipment and materials, you will ensure safe, long-lasting pavement solutions for our clients. This position requires a hands-on approach to pavement maintenance while providing guidance and direction to the crew.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Supervise the Pavement Maintenance Crew- Assign tasks, ensure productivity, and maintain a safe work environment.
Ensure the Team Prepares the work area- by clearing debris, setting grades, and ensuring proper base conditions.
Perform Hands-On Paving Work- Operate machines to spread, smooth, level, or reinforce stone, concrete, or asphalt on parking lots
Manage Schedules & Job Sites – Plan routes, track progress, and resolve on-site challenges.
Ensure Compliance with Safety Standards – Promote a culture of safety and enforce company policies.
Monitor material consistency and temperature to ensure proper application.
Operate, clean, and maintain pavement maintenance equipment.
Ensure high-quality workmanship by following best practices and job specifications.
Communicate with Clients & Leadership- Provide updates and recommendations, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify and engage opportunities to upsell customers on relevant services.
Adapt to different job sites and changing conditions.
Display reliable, responsible, and dependable behavior.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team (leadership experience preferred).
Proven experience in pavement maintenance preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate pavement maintenance equipment safely and familiarity with paving processes required.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform manual labor.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
