    Kennel Technician/Doggy Daycare Attendant (Part-Time) Location:The Colony, TX, US Requirements: • Preferred experience in managing daycare groups • Positive attitude, hardworking, good work ethic, time management skills • Open to feedback and willing to learn • Training provided for reading dog body language Responsibilities: • Working directly with dog daycare groups for 2-3 hours per shift • Caring for boarding/kenneled dogs before and after daycare • Maintaining cleanliness of the facility Ideal Candidate: • Passionate about animals - Interested in learning about dog behavior and obedience - Potential for growth in responsibility and leadership within 1+ years - Opportunity for internal promotion Compensation: $11 - $14 per hour based on experience - Tips can add an additional $2+ per hour Responsibilities: • Supervising and engaging with dogs in play groups of up to 30 dogs for shifts lasting up to 3 hours • Providing daily care for dogs in boarding, including exercising, organizing activities, and other related tasks • Learning to bathe, dry, brush dogs, and trim their nails • Ensuring the cleanliness of play yards and the facility • Minimizing stress for dogs by effectively managing them and meeting their needs promptly • Keeping accurate records in Gingr and maintaining activity schedules for the care provided • Collaborating with team members in a fast-paced setting through effective communication • Offering opportunities for growth and advancement within the company, including leadership roles and cross-training options in front desk, grooming, and dog training • Ideal for individuals passionate about dogs and seeking a dynamic work environment Qualifications: • The ideal candidate for the Kennel Technician position in The Colony, TX, US would be a high school graduate or have their GED. • Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for this role. • The candidate should be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and have a proven ability to follow instructions and learn new tasks. • Initiative-taking is a valued trait for this position. • Availability required includes alternating weekends and working one shift on all holidays. • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods is a must. • Candidates with at least 2 years of previous work experience showing dependability are preferred, particularly those who have worked with dogs or animals in the past. Compensation: $11 - $14 hour based on experience
