    What You’ll Do:

    Position Overview: Payroll Associate

    Responsibilities

    The role involves a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

    Creating and analyzing key payroll reports.

    Assisting in preparing payroll tax and 401(k) government filings, audits, and tax returns.

    Compiling semi-monthly payroll summaries for Corporate Accounting to document financial data.

    Addressing ad-hoc requests from individuals, Tax, HR, and Corporate Accounting.

    Preparing forecasts, reconciliations, and ad-hoc analyses as needed.

    Collaborating with the FinTech team to improve and automate the reporting functions of the company's enterprise resource planning system, Workday.

    Reviewing the company's outstanding payroll obligations and working with other departments to reconcile and resolve them.

    Managing SSNVS and new hire reporting.

     

     

    Candidate Profile

    Meticulous, thorough, and responsible, with a high degree of discretion regarding payroll information.

    Capable of managing timelines and meeting deadlines.

    Self-motivated and willing to take on new projects and see them through to completion.

    3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

    Strong analytical and communication skills, both oral and written.

    Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with advanced Excel skills.

    Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

    Must be a US Citizen or have clear authorization to work in the United States.

    Experience with Workday enterprise resource planning software is a plus.

    Previous payroll experience is an advantage.
