  • Responsibilities

    Our client is looking for a Payroll Clerk to add to their growing team. This is a temporary to permanent position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with bi-weekly, weekly and off cycle payroll.
    • Customer service with field and office employees
    • Proper timecard and sheet coding
    • Proper timecard entry and review of edit data
    • Proper benefit and time approvals
    • Balance and validating payroll edits and registers
    • Create payroll journal
    • Print or create checks and direct deposit data
    • Employee master record updates
    • Employee resident taxation research
    • Complete employment verifications
    • Unemployment Agency requests and verification

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
    • 1+ years of accounting experience.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Comfortable handling high volume of electronic transactions
  • Compensation
    $50,000-$55,000 per year
