    We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to manage the full payroll process for our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and data entry skills, coupled with extensive experience in payroll software and processing. As a Payroll Coordinator, you will oversee the entire payroll function, ensuring that all employees are compensated accurately and on time.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including collecting, reviewing, and verifying timesheets and other payroll-related documents.
    • Calculate employee wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and taxes, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
    • Process payroll on a regular schedule, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
    • Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposit notifications to employees.
    • Maintain and update payroll records and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.
    • Generate and submit payroll reports to management, as required.
    • Handle payroll-related questions and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
    • Ensure payroll compliance by staying informed of and adhering to changes in payroll laws and regulations.
    • Prepare and file payroll-related tax forms, including quarterly and annual tax returns.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of payroll-related data to external agencies and internal stakeholders.
    • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation related to payroll activities.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
    • 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing, with a strong understanding of payroll principles and practices.
    • Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
