    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager, Tax Filing for our shared services payroll team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both US and Canadian tax filing, experience with Ceridian/Dayforce Tax Service (CTS) and a working knowledge of the Canadian tax function.

    In this newly created position, the Payroll Tax Manager is responsible for coordinating post payroll processing tax activities for 30 U.S. companies and 8 Canadian companies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Manage payroll tax filings for multi-state U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions.
    • Monitor case aging with Ceridian Tax Service/DayForce.
    • Support new tax registrations.
    • Coordinate account closures.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for any audits or inquiries from government agencies related to payroll taxes.
    • Manage annual W2/T4/RL-1 reconciliation and reporting.
    • Co-lead quarter and year-end tax process with Sr Payroll Manager, reconciling quarterly tax returns and year end reporting.
    • Provide Quarterly reconciliation to Finance teams.
    • Manage communication and coordination of UC prepaid tax for experience rate reductions.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize accuracy and compliance.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 7 years’ experience focused on payroll tax filing responsibilities within multi-state U.S./Canadian frameworks.

    Skills:

    • Comprehensive knowledge in U.S. federal, state, local, and Canadian provincial/territorial payroll taxation.
    • Familiarity with UKG Pro (UltiPro) and/or ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
    • Unemployment experience-rate management

    • A proactive approach towards identifying issues before they arise along with solutions-oriented problem-solving capabilities.
    • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
    • High level of integrity in dealing with sensitive information.
    • Ability to work independently while also being collaborative team player.

    LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance and tenure.

    While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $105k-$115k.
