    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

    YWCA Tri-County Area is looking for a dedicated individual to serve as the Payroll Manager as part of our Finance team to support the organization’s financial operations. The Payroll Manager will oversee the day-to-day responsibilities for payroll, benefits administration, and reconciliation for all five YWCA Tri-County Area locations.

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

    The Payroll Manager will oversee the payroll, employee benefits, and payroll related taxes functions of the organization, ensuring payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. In addition, the Payroll Manager will administer employee benefits in conjunction with benefits providers, third party administrators, and Mission Engagement team. The Payroll Manager will also oversee employee payroll related tax functions and the unemployment process. Payroll Manager will balance and reconcile organizational payroll related general ledger accounts, making adjustments and corrections as needed. The Payroll Manager will serve as a positive contributing member of the organization’s finance team.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    · Develop, implement, and maintain policy and procedures for payroll, invoicing, and reconciliation

    · Analyze and report accounting data for management reports and decision-making purposes regarding employee compensation, including payroll, benefits, and tax reporting

    · Manage all functions related to payroll, employee benefits, and payroll tax reporting

    · Ensure timely submission of payroll

    · Manage processing and reconciliation of employee and employer paid benefits

    · Manage processing and reconciliation of YW Retirement (pension) and 401K plans

    · Monitor and maintain paid time off accruals

    · Provide training and support for management and staff to use APS payroll system

    · Review and abide by company policies and procedures

    · Reconcile payroll related GL payable and expenses accounts biweekly

    · Monitor and update allocation by employee and program

    · Support Mission Engagement (HR) in implementing staff compensation packages

    · Maintain relationship with APS Payroll System, Benefit Administrator, and Third Party Administrator

    · Other duties as assigned by CFO and/or CEO.

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE POSITION:

    Strong oral and written communication skills to communicate product details to clients

    Solid, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of APS Payroll System and Intacct accounting software a plus.

    Working knowledge of Department of Labor, PA Unemployment, and benefit administration regulations.

    High degree of attention to detail, including time management and organizational skills.

    Solution oriented and problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs.

    Ability to foster a team environment and work independently to achieve position priorities

    Understanding of YW3CA mission, goals, and objectives and ability to uphold the values of the organization.

    Knowledge of and sensitive to the issues facing the community served.

    Strong desire for continued growth and learning.

    Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by compassionate, courteous, cordial, cooperative, and professional interaction with diverse groups of co-workers, families, and members of the community

    · Willingness to attend/participate in occasional trips to attend conferences, seminars, and meetings.

    Education & Experience:

    · Bachelor’s in Accounting, Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration required.

    · Minimum 2-3 years proven payroll management experience

    Have reliable transportation and valid driver's license - preferred
