Position: Payroll Specialist

FT/PT Status: Full-Time Employment

Location: Hybrid - 2 days in office, 3 days remote

Education: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

**Overview:
**Kreative Technologies is in search for a motivated Payroll Specialist who will work closely with our Accounting and Human Resources teams to support the operational accounting needs of the firm. The ideal candidate will be able to research and learn new tasks with minimum guidance. Additionally, the incumbent will be able to demonstrate a high attention to detail and is able to consistently meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of in-house Payroll which includes the implementation, maintenance, and review of payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.

• Approve timesheets, posting labor in Unanet and importing information in ADP

• Review Expense reports entered in Unanet and guide employees on the Expense process

• Assist with timely payments on payroll-related taxes to different jurisdictions

• Setup and maintain employees in ADP workforce

• Setup projects and new hires in Unanet

• Ensure all records are kept accurate, compliant, and available for internal and external review

• Create and analyze various reports in ADP and Unanet

• Calculate and post accrual PTO per pay period

• Work closely with Human Resource to ensure all payroll, tax and benefits information is received and processed appropriately

Education/Skills/ Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting or a related field.

• Must be highly detail-oriented and organized

• Must be proactive and have strong communications skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Knowledge of payroll and general accounting processes.

• Experience with ADP and Unanet highly desired

• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, and extensive knowledge of FAR highly desired
