    We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Colorado and play a vital role in processing payroll for multiple client companies. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, internal HR, benefits, and accounting teams to deliver top-tier payroll services. Your expertise in multi-client payroll processing and payroll compliance will help ensure that every payroll runs smoothly and efficiently. If you’re detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about payroll, we’d love to hear from you! THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST SHOULD POSSESS: • An enjoyment in building relationships! This is a very high-contact customer service role with clients and having great relationships with them is one of the keys to success • Data entry, payroll, or accounting knowledge! We prefer this person to possess at least 1 year of experience processing payroll, working in accounting, or another form of data entry position where high attention to detail is required • Organizational and time management skills! The ideal candidate will possess a track record of being very detail-oriented. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining an excellent relationship with clients, processing their payrolls, and maintaining all necessary employee information pertaining to clients and their payrolls • A technology-friendly background! This person must be proficient in Microsoft Excel/Outlook and is able to learn new HRIS software quickly • Positive and professional attitude! The Client Relations and Payroll Specialist must collaboratively work with other departments and professionally communicate with clients; a positive customer service philosophy is essential • Dedicated to Getting It Right the First Time! The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, successfully managing multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy Responsibilities: WHAT THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST DOES:Build and Maintain Client Relationships – Communicate regularly with clients to address payroll-related questions, ensure their needs are met, and provide outstanding customer service • Process Accurate & Compliant Payrolls – Analyze, prepare, and input payroll data using an automated system, ensuring timely and error-free processing in compliance with state and federal wage and hour laws • Ensure Accuracy & Compliance – Review reports, check work, and implement quality control measures to minimize errors while staying up to date on payroll regulations • Educate & Support Clients – Train clients and employees on payroll procedures to ensure clarity and compliance • Assist with Onboarding & Record Retention – Facilitate background checks and drug screenings for new hires while maintaining organized payroll records and documentation • Stay Professionally Engaged – Enhance industry knowledge through workshops, professional publications, networking, and participation in industry organizations • Manage Communications – Prepare and distribute correspondence via mail, email, and company blog Qualifications: WHAT YOU NEED • 1+ years of experience in data entry, payroll, or accounting preferred • 1+ years of experience in a customer service role • Is very proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite • Has the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality • Ability to communicate effectively • Ability to take care of clients’ needs while following company procedures • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills to ensure productivity levels and deadlines are met **Applicants must be located in Colorado.
