    Major duties

    Under the direction of our Recruiting Manager, the Talent Placement Specialist will work as part of a highly collaborative team to provide quality candidates to our clients. This includes:

    • Based on input from clients and members of the Business Development team, creating accurate and attractive job postings for our website, job boards, social media platforms, networking tools, etc. while taking into account submission deadlines and priorities. As these job postings represent Peak in the professional recruiting world, this role is responsible for proofreading all job postings with an eye toward contributing to the Peak brand.

    • Present qualified candidates that meet our mission requirements to Account Managers, highlighting relevant qualifications.

    • Conduct pre-interview and post-interview follow up calls before and after scheduled client interviews.

    • Coordinate with Office Administrator and Account Managers on all onboarding and start day details for new temporary employees.

    • Manage the status of top talent, anticipate assignment ends, and proactively key up top talent for redeployment on new assignments with our trusted clients.

    • Maintain accurate CRM/ATS records following best practices.

    • According to other team members’ workloads and in the spirit of close collaboration, may be asked to assist with sourcing talent and brainstorming recruiting strategies.

    • Provide administrative support to Account Managers and other members of the Business Development team as requested.

    What are we looking for?

    • 2+ years of experience working as a hiring specialist, or sourcer.

    • Experience using a variety of software applications including Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

    • Demonstrated ability to explain policies and procedures to candidates and the public; to maintain confidential and sensitive information; and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, coworkers, and the general public.

    • Enthusiasm for identifying and engaging qualified job candidates throughout the recruiting process.

    • Experience with multitasking while producing high quality work products and meeting deadlines.

    • Effective and professional oral and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.

    • Experience working successfully as a member of a cohesive team.

    • Positivity, creativity, compassion, trust, teamwork and fun.

    • Ability to master new technologies quickly and eagerly.

    • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university. Experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

    About this position

    • Salary: $70,000; eligible for bonuses and commissions after 60 days

    • Full-time

    • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. This is an FLSA-exempt role and work may be required outside of these hours.

    • Location: Austin, TX
