The Director of Data Analytics and Business Reporting will create the strategy and infrastructure to support the key functions of Supply chain to include distribution, transportation, Inventory management, Safety, Center of Excellence, Purchasing, Programs and Projects. Strong collaboration with Sonepar IT Data team leveraging aligned data sources. Lead a team of analysis developing core BI reporting, Operating Company analytics, Network analysis. Developing a cadence of financial supply chain cost reporting supported by Sonepar finance team.  

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Build strategy to Develop partnership with Vendor, Finance, IT and Supply Chain Operations teams to drive daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reporting / lead and develop team to management processes including annual target setting, metrics definitions, and deep dives into causes of variance.
• Lead and drive creation of performance measurement tools, timely dashboards and product requirement documentation.
• Lead development of data driven tools to drive continuous improvement, forecasting tools, S&OP while surfacing and developing new tool options for Supply Chain to leverage.
• Design and build world class supply chain reporting and tools in Power BI that embody data visualization and UI/UX best practices. Partner with IT leveraging Sonepar data lake for report standardization. Uniform reporting for Operating Company Supply Chain/Logistics leadership to leverage to improve performance.  
• Own and Curate network analytics and reporting for Supply Chain and Operating Companies to support strategic decision making by delivering data base scenario planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5- 7 years of data analytics and data visualization
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or tableau
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience managing a team
• Must have good verbal communication skills
