We are seeking a Pedestrian Door Technician Apprentice to join our team. The Pedestrian Door Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and service of hollow metal and wood doors, frames, hardware, and related products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction and installation process, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities: • Installation: Install hollow metal doors and frames at various construction sites, ensuring compliance with blueprints, building codes, and manufacturer instructions. • Maintenance & Repair: Perform regular maintenance on hollow metal doors and frames, including replacing or repairing door hardware, weather stripping, and other components. • Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients, contractors, and other trades to coordinate schedules and address any concerns regarding door systems and installations. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each project for billing and tracking purposes. • Hardware Installation : Install and adjust door hardware, such as locks, hinges, closers, and panic devices, ensuring proper operation. Qualifications: • We require candidates to have a high school diploma or GED Compensation: $20 - $24 hourly
