    Job Description: A leading pediatric healthcare facility in Washington, D.C., is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool for a 13-week contract. This role requires flexibility and expertise in providing specialized care across multiple critical care units, ensuring high-quality, family-centered care for pediatric patients.

    As a Critical Care Float Pool RN, you will adapt quickly to different units, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in critical care units.

    Float between multiple high-acuity units as needed.

    Maintain compliance with all policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.

    Serve as a role model in organizational and time management skills.

    Qualifications:

    ✅ Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Required

    ✅ Experience & Skills:

    Minimum of 2 years of pediatric critical care nursing experience required

    Strong adaptability and ability to function efficiently across multiple units

    Excellent communication and teamwork skills

    ✅ Licensure & Certifications:

    Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the District of Columbia (Required)

    RN license in Maryland or Virginia may be required depending on practice location

    Basic Life Support (BLS) / Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – Required

    Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred

    Schedule & Work Conditions:

    13-Week Contract

    Rotating Shifts (Day/Night & Weekends)

    12-hour shifts
