  • Responsibilities

    Puzzle Pieces is looking for a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our collaborative team on a per diem basis, providing support to children ages 12 and under with diverse needs on Fridays and/or Saturdays. Our practice is rooted in a respectful, family-centered, and neurodiversity-affirming approach, with a multidisciplinary team that includes speech-language pathologists, mental health clinicians, and occupational therapists. We use the DIRFloortime® model in our interventions. While no prior experience with this model is required, we seek candidates with a willingness to learn and grow with us.

    Responsibilities:

    Maintain a diverse caseload with a variety of pediatric speech-language disorders

    Implement tailored interventions for children that demonstrate creativity and passion

    Collaborate with parents to provide unique, wrap-around support not found elsewhere.

    Solve problems with flexibility and adapt to the diverse needs of our clients

    Embrace independence while fostering a culture of lifelong learning and collaboration.

    Requirements:

    Current Massachusett OTR/L

    Experience with, and a passion for working with children and families

    An understanding of neurodiversity-affirming therapy is preferred.

    Willingness to be a true team player with our interdisciplinary team and possess strong communication skills.
