Position Overview:
As a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with physical therapists to implement individualized treatment plans designed to help children achieve their developmental and therapeutic goals. Your role will be essential in supporting our clinical team and ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for pediatric patients.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and their families about exercises, techniques, and home care routines.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or a related field.
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in Utah.
- Previous experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and their families.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and/or carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, and move about facility for prolonged periods
- Must be able to seize, hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with hands
- Must be able to respond quickly to sounds
- Flexibility as needed
