We are seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our outpatient pediatric physical therapy practice in Rockville, MD. Our dynamic clinic provides comprehensive physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, ranging from birth to 21 years of age. We treat patients with a wide variety of conditions, including developmental delays, neurologic injuries, genetic syndromes, orthopedic and sports-related injuries, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a variety of physical therapy needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions based on each patient’s needs.
Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions focused on promoting each child’s mobility and independence.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care and outcomes for each child.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development.
Maintain a flexible schedule, with preference for evening hours to accommodate school-aged children.
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.
Current Maryland Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure in Maryland.
Experience in pediatric physical therapy preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
