    Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pedodontist to join our multi-specializing dental practice, we a multi-specializing in the oral health care of children from infancy through adolescence. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for pediatric dentistry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and supportive environment. As a Pedodontist, you will play a crucial role in educating young patients and their families about proper dental hygiene and preventive care.

    Duties

    Conduct comprehensive dental examinations for children, assessing their oral health and development.

    Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.

    Diagnose and treat dental issues such as cavities, misalignment, and other pediatric dental conditions.

    Perform procedures including root canal therapy and other necessary interventions.

    Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficient patient care during procedures.

    Maintain accurate patient records using Epic or similar electronic health record systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

    Educate patients and their guardians on proper dental hygiene practices and the importance of regular check-ups.

    Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff members to ensure a smooth workflow in the dental office.

    Stay updated with advancements in pediatric dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.

    Qualifications

    Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.

    Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program is required.

    Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental fabrication techniques.

    Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children and their families.

    Demonstrated experience in patient care within a pediatric setting is preferred.

    Familiarity with dental office operations and procedures is advantageous.

    Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
