Job Description: We are seeking a Peer Specialist Supervisor to lead and support a team of Peer Specialists who provide direct peer support services to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have lived experience with mental health and/or substance use challenges and a passion for mentoring others on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, train, and mentor a team of Peer Specialists.

Ensure that peer support services align with company policies, ethical standards, and best practices.

Provide ongoing professional development and support for Peer Specialists.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all program requirements.

Develop and implement strategies to improve peer services and client engagement.

Foster a supportive, collaborative team culture.

Advocate for peer support services within the organization and community.

Qualifications:

Lived experience with mental health, substance use recovery, or related challenges, with a strong commitment to recovery principles.

Registered Peer Supervisor (RPS) or eligibility to obtain certification.

Certified by the Maryland Addictions and Behavioral-health Professionals Certification Board (MABPCB)

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.

Must have driver's license.
