DESCRIPTION
Primarily responsible for providing the company’s compliance and reporting services for a group of assigned plans in a timely, accurate and high-quality manner. Responsible for supervising and training assigned retirement plan consultant(s). Provide assistance to team members, other teams or departments as needed to meet impending deadlines.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
College Degree, plus additional experience and training sufficient to demonstrate an ability to meet all job requirements. Completion of industry certification and other courses as determined by manager. 5 to 7 years’ experience in all aspects of year-end plan administration for Defined Contribution Plans and Defined Benefit Plans, including knowledge of Tax Code, ERISA laws and regulations and sufficient accounting principles. Demonstrated skills in grammar, written and oral communications, advanced math, problem-solving skills and excellent customer service. Skilled in application software (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong commitment to the company’s vision, strategic business plan and customer service. Ability to work independently, think strategically, plan for the long-term success of the company. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions. Ability to work with minimal direction, manage several projects at once, provide attention to detail and maintain confidentiality of customer financial information. Personal attributes include confidence, self-motivation, reliability, teamwork, leadership and ability to meet deadlines.
