Per Diem Naturopathic Doctor - OxygenWell

At OxygenWell, our Per Diem Naturopathic Doctors or Nurse Practitioner will provide vital support to our integrative team. We’re seeking personable, professional, and highly skilled naturopathic doctors who have a deep passion for integrative medicine , particularly in the areas of bioidentical hormone therapy and or integrative oncology.

In this role, you will bring extensive knowledge in bioidentical hormones to support hormonal health and balance for our clients, as well as experience in integrative oncology, helping cancer patients manage symptoms and improve overall wellness. You will administer IV therapies and IM injections, conduct initial consultations, and guide clients with personalized wellness recommendations. We expect you to be self-driven, proactive, and confident, requiring minimal supervision while maintaining strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Perform vital sign checks and health assessments.

Seamlessly administer IV treatments and IM injections.

Continuously monitor patients during treatments to ensure their safety and comfort.

Conduct initial consultations, evaluating potential contraindications for IV therapy.

Draw and customize ingredients for IV and IM treatments based on patient needs.

Provide expert recommendations on bioidentical hormones, IV therapies, injections, and functional wellness tests.

Coordinate care with other members of the integrative health team.

Chart patient information and treatment notes using our electronic medical records system.

Provide nutritional counseling and recommend complementary products and services, including bioidentical hormone therapies.

Assist with inventory management for medical supplies and communicate needs to the team.

Support the team at on-site and off-site events when required.

Offer guidance on optimizing treatment outcomes for patients undergoing integrative oncology care.

Perform other tasks as needed by department leadership.

Qualifications:

Active California Naturopathic Doctor (ND) license.

Expertise in bioidentical hormone therapy and or experience in integrative oncology.

Completed qualifying IV therapy course approved by the California Board.

Certification in CPR and ACLS.

Active malpractice insurance.

3+ years of experience in IV therapy and 1+ year of experience in intramuscular injections.

Strong venipuncture/IV catheter skills.

Friendly, approachable, and solution-oriented with an excellent bedside manner.

Organized, proactive, and able to work independently while also being a team player.
