    Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for per diem work to deliver customized home health care services in Taylor, MI. The primary objective of this role is to address a wide range of hurdles, including musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopedic, trauma-related, cardiorespiratory, sensory-motor, fine motor, developmental, and swallowing difficulties. Responsibilities: • Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' functional levels in Taylor, MI, US on a per diem basis. • Compile background information, assess referrals, choose appropriate evaluation tools, and appraise patients to determine their physical and psychosocial capabilities. • Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and adjust personalized care plans. • Assume responsibility for the planning, execution, and assessment of treatment for the assigned caseload. • Maintain accurate documentation of clinical progress notes. • Offer guidance to therapy assistants and home health aides when needed. • Educate patients and their families on the proper and safe usage of adaptive equipment, and provide recommendations for installation. • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA). • Provide tailored education to patients and caregivers, efficiently plan discharges, and work closely with healthcare professionals. • Perform comprehensive assessments, suggest interventions, recommend assistive devices for daily activities, and offer training on adaptive technologies. • Implement therapeutic strategies to enhance patients' functional abilities for everyday tasks. Qualifications: • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from a four-year program is required for the PER DIEM Occupational Therapist position in Taylor, MI, US. • Successful completion of at least six months of clinical affiliations in specific O.T.
