    Looking for a committed Occupational Therapist (OT) on a per diem basis to provide personalized home health care services in Taylor, MI. The focus of this position is to tackle various obstacles such as musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopedic, trauma-related, cardiorespiratory, sensory-motor, fine motor, developmental, and swallowing challenges. Responsibilities: • Perform assessments to evaluate the functional level of patients in Taylor, MI, US on a per diem basis. • Gather background information, assess referrals, select appropriate evaluation tools, and evaluate patients to determine their physical and psychosocial capacity. • Work closely with physicians and healthcare team members to create and modify individualized care plans. • Take responsibility for planning, executing, and evaluating treatment for the designated caseload. • Accurately document clinical progress notes. • Provide guidance to therapy assistants and home health aides when necessary. • Educate patients and their families on the proper and safe use of adaptive equipment, as well as offer installation recommendations. • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA). • Provide personalized education to patients and caregivers, plan discharges effectively, and collaborate closely with healthcare professionals. • Conduct comprehensive assessments, offer recommendations, propose assistive devices for daily activities, and provide training on adaptive technologies. • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve the patient's functional capabilities for everyday tasks. Qualifications: • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from a four-year course is a mandatory requirement for the PER DIEM Occupational Therapist position in Taylor, MI, US. • Completion of at least six months of clinical affiliations in designated areas of O.T.
