    Job Summary

    We are looking for an Performance Automotive Technician to join service center.

    As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems. We service vehicles from classic to current, covering all years all makes and all models of American made vehicles. We service carbureted and fuel injected vehicles and convert vehicles to electronics and fuel injection. This generally requires good organizing skills and some fabrication skills. We build motors transmissions and chassis and suspension systems, we have And in ground dynamometer and tune everything from carburetors to late model fuel injection on American made vehicles. We also are a preferred Holley fuel injection tuning facility.

    Responsibilities

    Use your expertise and to evaluate vehicle Issues and formulate the proper repair.

    Assist with established service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols

    Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements

    Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes

    Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business

    Convey necessary vehicle repair information find a work order in a clear and concise manner

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED is required

    A Michigan mechanics certificate in one or more repair categories.

    The automotive service technician training program is preferred.

    Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification certification is preferred.

    Pay will be determined by qualifications and certifications.

    Must have own tools and drivers license
