Opportunities are available at various locations in Metropolitan Washington, D.C., and Baltimore. Candidates must indicate a preference for Baltimore or Washington, D.C. when applying. Selected applicants will receive a Google Docs form via email for completion before the initial interview. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement creative and interactive lesson plans in alignment with educational standards in Washington, D.C. • Foster a safe and supportive learning environment to promote student well-being and academic success. • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to establish a positive and efficient learning setting. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to design a cohesive and enriching academic experience for students in Washington, D.C. • Maintain accurate student progress records and ensure transparent communication with parents or guardians regarding student development. Qualifications: • The role of Performing Arts Instructor in Washington, D.C. requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must for effectively engaging with students and team members. • Proficiency in G Suite is essential, and the ability to adapt quickly to new systems is required. • Flexibility in schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings, is crucial for this position. • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to a reliable personal vehicle are mandatory. • Completing the Google Docs form sent via email before the initial interview is a critical step for the application to be considered valid. Compensation: $22 - $25 hourly
