    Job Summary

    As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. You will provide essential support and assistance with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your primary responsibilities will include personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping tasks.

    Responsibilities

    · Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

    · Provide mobility assistance, including help with walking, transferring, and positioning.

    · Medications reminders as prescribed and monitor for any side effects or changes in condition.

    · Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and client preferences.

    · Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.

    · Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities and conversations.

    · Monitor and report any changes in client's health, behavior, or needs to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.

    · Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and any observations.

    Qualifications

    · High school diploma or equivalent.

    · Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required.

    · Previous experience in a caregiving role, preferably in a home care or healthcare setting.

    · Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

    · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    · Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

    · Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.

    · Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

    · Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
