    We are seeking a financial advisor or associate financial advisor to assist clients in designing and implementing strategies to achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business or finance, as well as strong communication and relationship skills. Key Outcomes: Identify sales opportunities through client review and analysis. Gather appropriate client information to assist in building a tailored financial plan through pre- and post-meeting outreach. Provide service and answer client questions to achieve satisfaction, which contributes to the growth of our book of business. Responsibilities: The following reflects responsibilities and tasks that may be asked of you within your role. Additionally, this role does require light travel between the two offices and to client meetings. Must have a reliable vehicle. Client Engagement & Relationship Management • Lead proactive outreach to existing clients and prospects by initiating regular check-ins, offering value-added follow-ups, and identifying opportunities for planning, consolidation, or new business. Ensure all client communication is timely, personalized, and aligned with their financial goals. Personal Meeting Preparation & Follow-Through • Prepare thoroughly for client and prospect meetings by assembling meeting materials, reviewing current financials in eMoney and SalesCentral, and drafting potential recommendations. Following meetings, take ownership of execution steps and ongoing communication to ensure action items are completed efficiently. Client Segmentation & Targeted Opportunity Development • Analyze CRM and client data to identify targeted planning and sales opportunities across insurance, investment, or advisory services. Categorize clients by engagement tier and develop tailored outreach strategies to move clients forward in their financial planning journey. Outbound Business Development & Referral Growth • Drive new business growth by identifying referral opportunities, networking in the community, and leveraging client events or webinars for prospecting. Follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns and support the advisor team in cultivating centers of influence. Financial Planning & Strategic Solutions • Assist in crafting holistic financial plans across retirement, estate, investment, and tax planning areas. Work collaboratively with lead advisors to structure solutions that align with client objectives, and communicate plan updates in a way that builds confidence and clarity. Portfolio & Product Recommendations • Evaluate investment portfolios, insurance policies, and annuity positions with an eye toward identifying repositioning opportunities or gaps in coverage. Support plan updates with stress testing, scenario planning, and product illustrations as needed. Client Education & Workshop Support • Participate in the development and delivery of client-facing educational sessions, whether virtually or in person. Help plan and co-host webinars, workshops, or appreciation events that generate goodwill and provide value-based touchpoints. Technology-Enabled Service • Utilize firm technology platforms like eMoney, Wealthscape, and CRM systems to deliver exceptional service. Support clients in adopting these tools and maintaining up-to-date financial data that enhances the planning experience. Onboarding & Life Event Support • Lead onboarding conversations with new clients, ensuring a seamless and confident start to the relationship. During key life events—retirement, inheritance, marriage, business exit—serve as a point of contact to help realign the plan and provide continuity. Compliance & Documentation • Maintain clean and timely documentation of all planning conversations, client touches, and financial transactions. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal compliance procedures. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with other advisors, insurance specialists, and estate or tax professionals to coordinate comprehensive client care. Be the go-to resource for coordinating internal and external follow-ups needed to advance the plan. Feedback Loop & Continuous Improvement • Solicit feedback from clients after major planning milestones or service interactions. Use input to improve future engagement and suggest enhancements to firm workflows that improve the client experience. Strategic Firm Initiatives • Contribute ideas to business development, client segmentation, and firm-wide outreach initiatives. Collaborate with the marketing team to execute client engagement strategies and nurture prospective relationships through consistent messaging and brand alignment. Crisis Support & Contingency Planning • Act as a trusted contact for clients during difficult times, such as job loss, market turbulence, or family crises. Provide empathetic, clear guidance and ensure continuity of the financial plan. Professional Growth & Internal Leadership • Participate in licensing and continuing education. Lead internal training sessions or contribute to knowledge-sharing among advisors. Serve as an example of growth-minded professionalism within the firm. Investment Committee Coordination • Assist in running quarterly investment committee meetings. Coordinate with external managers, prepare performance summaries, and handle logistics such as scheduling, presentation prep, and lunch ordering. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (required). • 1+ years of experience in finance, including insurance, capital markets, and financial planning concepts (preferred). • Strong analytical skills with a background in computer systems, mathematics, economics, or finance (preferred). • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on high proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (required). • FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65, or 66 (preferred but can obtain through employment). • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills, including presentation and interpersonal skills. • Ability to communicate persuasively and effectively to a wide range of clients. • Dedicated commitment to providing superior customer service with a focus on quality and professionalism. Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 yearly
