Our firm is growing and handles a high volume of cases and we’re looking for an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to help clients find justice and just compensation. You’ll handle the case file from start to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals. You should have strong credentials, a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation along with trial case experience. Responsibilities: • Interview clients, supporting witnesses, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to collect information • Settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate and negotiate reasonable agreements • Record and update the status of all case files in the case management system • Serve as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, and litigation • Supervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary Qualifications: • A good understanding of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desired • 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is needed • Computer proficiency is essential • A bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required • State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is mandatory • Dual Bar Admission in NJ and NY preferred Compensation: $95,000 - $150,000 yearly
