    Our law firm is seeking a dynamic self-starter to join our team as a personal injury legal case manager, working alongside our attorneys to achieve clients’ goals. We're seeking an effective communicator who is organized, and self-motivated. Our ideal applicant will have personal injury pre-litigation experience in case management and be skilled at resolving property damage, medical treatment issues, demand letter writing, subrogation, and communication with clients and insurance companies. Responsibilities: • Draw up legal documents for attorney review • Update clients and outside counsel on case status as requested • Maintain and organize all case files, and information with regard to engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with firm policies • Complete legal research to obtain documentation regarding medical records, health insurance, social security, and medical providers • Coordinate between attorneys, staff, and outside vendors to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met • Review medical and billing records and draft demand letters to insurance companies • Communicate with insurance companies and update them about clients' treatment status • Follow up with clients and medical providers regarding clients' treatment status Qualifications: • Comfortable with computer programs, such as spreadsheet presentation, word processing, and case management software • A 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor’s degree is preferred - High school diploma is required • Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated • Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are needed • Professional case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal, at a non-profit, law firm, or human services agency Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
