    Our law firm is seeking a skilled and successful personal injury attorney to join our growing team and help clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. Our ideal candidate will handle case files from start to finish, have excellent credentials, a passion for helping people, and a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury experience. Responsibilities: • Oversee personal injury case files from beginning to end • Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly • Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system • Appear as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation • Supervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary • Settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate and negotiate reasonable agreements • Attending court hearings. • Conducting and defending depositions. • Conducting discovery. • Daily contact with clients regarding various aspects of their case, particularly regarding their injuries and medical treatment. • Daily contact with medical providers to stay current on client’s injuries and medical treatment. • Maintaining and updating case information in law firm case management software. • Troubleshooting solutions to client concerns and/or issues “on the fly”. • Daily communication with relevant insurance companies and defense firms. Qualifications: • Proficiency in computers is vital • Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory • Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued • Requires a bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 yearly
