    Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to our trial team and assist in all phases of the litigation process. You will perform legal research, conduct interviews, file documents, and attend trials. The ideal candidate is hardworking and detail-oriented.

    Case Management:

    Assist attorneys in managing a high-volume caseload, including tracking deadlines, court appearances, and document filings.

    Keep clients up to date with status of case and keep case up to date with client’s recovery.

    Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all relevant documents are accurately labeled and readily accessible.

    Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel for scheduling depositions, hearings, and meetings.

    Oversee work of assigned legal assistant, understanding that the case management is ultimately your responsibility.

    Legal Research and Drafting:

    Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing cases.

    Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence under attorney supervision.

    Prepare and file documents with courts and administrative agencies, adhering to applicable rules and procedures.

    Discovery Support:

    Assist with the discovery process, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions.

    Manage document production, review, and organization, utilizing electronic discovery platforms as needed.

    Coordinate document exchange and deposition scheduling with opposing parties.

    Trial Preparation:

    Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings by organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial notebooks.

    Coordinate with expert witnesses, including scheduling meetings, obtaining reports, and managing communication.

    Assist during trial proceedings by managing exhibits, witnesses, and courtroom logistics.

    Administrative Support:

    Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence.

    Maintain billing records and assist with client invoicing as needed.

    Support other pre-litigation and litigation paralegals when necessary.

    Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the legal team.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution preferred.

    5+ Previous experience as a personal injury paralegal with trial presence experience.

    Proficiency in legal research and drafting, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    Knowledge of legal procedures, court rules, and electronic filing systems.

    Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and external parties.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.

    Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
