Mike Agruss Law is hiring a Remote Personal Injury Paralegal. Ideal candidates will have at least 2+ years of experience handling personal injury cases. Responsibilities: • Case Management : Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all relevant documents such as medical records, employment documents, and correspondence are accurately filed and up-to-date. • Drafting : Draft necessary legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements. • Discovery: Propound and answer written discovery. • Client and Professional Communication : Serve as a liaison between clients, attorneys, insurance companies, and medical professionals, managing communication to ensure timely updates and information flow. • Evidence Collection and Organization : Gather and meticulously organize evidence, including medical records, witness statements, and employment documentation, to support claims. • Preparation for Hearings and Depositions : Assist in preparing for hearings and depositions by compiling relevant information, preparing exhibits, and ensuring all necessary documents and evidence are readily accessible for the attorney. Qualifications: • NALA (National Association of Legal Assistants) certification program completion is strongly preferred • Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar • At least 3-5 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting, preferably specializing in personal injury law • Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills • ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired Compensation: $25 hourly
